As we observe the abolition of the institution of the slavery of those of African descent in the British Empire on August 1, 1834 and the unique celebration of Fox Hill Day on the 2nd Tuesday in the month of August, we take time to reconnect, remember and share the significance of these celebrations to our ancestors and what it should mean for all Bahamians today.Special thanks to Bishop J.
