Olympian and indoor gold medalist, Shaunae Miller-Ubio and silver medalist Devynne Charlton paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Hon. Phillip Brave Davis on Wednesday afternoon, in the Majority Room, at the House of Assembly. Prime Minister Davis congratulated both athletes on their stellar performances at the World Indoor Championships, held in Belgrade, Serbia. He applauded both athletes for exceptionally representing The Bahamas and wished them well in the upcoming outdoor season. Miller-Uibo and Charlton also received congratulatory remarks from other members of parliament while sitting in the gallery.Also present during the call were Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, Hon. Mario Bowleg; Incoming Director of Sports, Kelsie Johnson and Incoming Deputy Director Commander Natasha Miller.
