
Nassau, The Bahamas – On Friday, May 29, Prime Minister the Hon. Philip Davis will deliver the keynote address at the 2025 Bahamas Business and Investment Forum. The event, themed “Embracing Opportunities in Paradise,” will bring together international investors to explore the numerous opportunities within The Bahamas’ diverse economy.
During his address, Prime Minister Davis will outline the unique investment advantages that make The Bahamas an attractive destination for global investors, including its stable governance, favourable tax policies, and strategic proximity to key markets, particularly the United States.
While tourism and financial services continue to dominate the economy, the Bahamian government is actively promoting investment in emerging sectors such as light manufacturing, technology, agriculture, and renewable energy. These efforts aim to ensure sustainable economic growth and job creation across the islands.

Prime Minister Davis will return on Friday, May 30, 2025. Minister Glenys Hanna-Martin will serve as Acting Prime Minister until Prime Minister Davis’s return.
