The Office of The Prime Minister wishes to advise the public that Hon. Philip Edward Davis will travel to Ghana to represent the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) at the African Export-Import Bank event. This important visit marks another step forward since The Bahamas signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the African Export-Import Bank.
The visit highlights the increasing cooperation between CARICOM, The Bahamas, and our African partners. It aims to foster mutual economic growth, cultural exchange, and social development.
During Prime Minister Davis’s absence, Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper will serve as acting Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Davis will return on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
