On the sidelines of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Samoa, Prime Minister Philip Davis met with the UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Affairs, The Rt Hon David Lammy MP. The discussions covered a range of issues of mutual importance to The Bahamas, the United Kingdom, and the wider Caribbean.
Prime Minister Davis also took the opportunity to raise the topic of reparations, emphasizing the need for continued dialogue on this matter.
Both leaders expressed a commitment to ongoing cooperation and maintaining strong ties between their countries.
