The Office of the Prime Minister’s Climate Change & Environmental Advisory Unit (C2EAU) wishes to announce that applications are now open for the 2024-2025 Bahamas Youth Climate Ambassador Programme.
One male and one female will be selected to lead the establishment of a platform to advance climate change matters and spearhead engagement with Bahamian youth and key stakeholders across The Bahamas, the Caribbean region, and internationally.
Bahamian nationals between 18 and 25 years old are being invited to apply to serve for a tenure of one year.
The successful candidates will represent The Bahamas in local and international fora, including COP29 and shall identify and organize projects and programs that can be implemented in the country to support the advancement of climate action.
The deadline for application is March 6, 2024.
