Highlights:

Tourism Incubator Centre – “Sun, Sand & Souvenirs”
Launched in 2024, this retail hub helps local creators test and grow authentic Bahamian products – from art and fashion to food and wellness goods. More incubators are planned for other islands.
Home Sweet Home Vacation Rental Grants
Provides $10,000 grants, training, and compliance support to help Bahamians start or upgrade short-term rentals. The first 60 recipients were awarded in February 2025.
Venture Pitch Competitions
Island-based pitch events offering cash prizes to tourism startups. Competitions have been held in Grand Bahama, Abaco, Bimini, Andros, and Eleuthera, with Cat Island next.
ALA Lifeguard Certification Training
Now training Bahamians to fill local lifeguard jobs, with over 300 certified participants across Nassau, Eleuthera, Grand Bahama, and Exuma.
Blue, Green and Orange Economy Grants for Young Entrepreneurs (18-35)
Bahamians aged 18 to 35 are invited to take the next step toward building a venture that drives meaningful impact and long term growth in The Bahamas.
